Everyone on the left was saying it wasn't taxes when the Conservatives brought up the items that are taken off your paycheck,

The page said it WAS originally. Here are the before and after changes.

If the government takes it off your paycheck and you don't see it again. It's a tax.

If you die before collecting CPP. You get nothing.

If you don't get laid off from your job. You will never see EI.
